Press release regarding a generous bequest.
The continuing dialogue between the Anglican Communion and the Roman Catholic Church has recently received an important boost. Rev. Don Dalzell Miller, who died on June 05, 2011 at the age of 98 in Ft. Meyers, Florida, has left a substantial legacy to The American Friends of the Anglican Centre in Rome. For many years The Anglican Centre in Rome has been an important presence and source of hospitality and education in the search for Christian Unity in a climate of fracture.
The Board of The American Friends is exploring the possibility of establishing an endowment fund to sustain and enrich their support for the Anglican Centre in Rome which currently runs at around $100,000 per annum.
